Looks pretty.
Damage to pistons? I take it the thing munched a timing belt? You've got your work cut out for you. Might be able to find a good low mileage boneyard engine and swap it out ( and change the Tbelt and tensioner and idlers )

Have fun with it.It'l be nice when it's done. I love driving 960s, I'm just not very fond of working on them.
