A 1968 144 converted to propane 140-160

Less than gasoline, given the same engine configuration. But, it behaves as a very high-octane fuel, so it responds nicely to high compression, earlier ignition advance (this has to be done correctly, ideally a different curve) and the right cam. My 78 Ford camper van (it tows a horse trailer) makes noticeably more power on propane than it did on gasoline, but it involved a cam and some head work along with the conversion. Hard valve seats are mandatory as well.
