The speedo is electronic. The sending unit is in the differential housing, sitting near the top. There are wires coming out of the sender going to the speedo head that is in the dash. No cables at all. Just make sure when you change the clutch that you mark the driveshaft as to it alignment. I make a mark the whole length of the shaft. I use a paint pen, it works wonders on a lot of things. The front U-Joint is a flex joint. The bolts go in a certain way, so mark them also. The flywheel is aligned also. It has to be installed in the exact way it came out. This is to keep the flywheel sensor in the correct location. Mark the flywheel. If you forget there is a way to correct that. While you are replacing the clutch you might want to replace the center bearing and the round rubber mount. Just a thought. Remember to have the flywheel surfaced and if possible have the complete assembly balanced. The shop that surfaces the flywheel can do this... Max
