ANSWER Isky cams question 120-130

There are better cams with more modern lobe profiles that have less trade off between high end and low end (John Parker/VPD and KgTrimning, et al). But the Isky's can be fun/ I was going to get a KG cam alst time, but they weren't going to be available for a couple of months, so I got the Isky VV-81 instead and Isky shipped it right out.

Might think about a half set of SBC solid lifters (order a set of 8 for an Iron Duke 4 cylinder) and some tubular pushrods (for use in the Volvo motor with the SBC lifters) while you are at it too. You should always use new lifters with a new cam.

VV-61 is good for an automatic trans car. Low end torque.
VV-71 is nice to pep up a largely stock motor.
VV-81 nice if the car can breathe well enough to take advantage of it.
