The antenna is designed to retract when the engine or radio is shut off.

The serice reminder light comes on every 10K to remind you to service the vehicle. It comes on at startup and goes off after 2 minutes. It can be easily reset by removing the rubber plug on the instrument panel and using something narrow and stiff to push into the socket until you feel it reset, then reinstall the rubber plug.

Can't help you with removing the radio.
