61 544 B16B 6Volt No start problem...need help please 444-544

Make sure you have good ground connections from:
battery to the body - unbolt strap to body and aggressively clean strap and body
engine (bell housing) to the body - unbolt strap to body and aggressively clean strap and body


Another remoke spark issue can be (though I'm not familiar with B16 distributors) a short with the bolt that connects the points to the distributor. The bolt should not contact the distributor - there is an insulated locating washer which prevents this from happening, but careful assembly is required to make sure there is no contact.
