'90 740, R12, I want to convert to 134a. I got a converted compressor at the 'mall'.. heh, a year or so ago and haven't installed it yet. The one in the car is dead. I had sealed the holes in the stored comp but just found that I didn't do so hot and they have been open for a while. Will that have ruined the comp, or is there something I can/should do before trying to use it?
