Hello,

If the system is low the AC compressor might quickly cycle but it will not do more than that. The low side is in a pain in the butt location on my 86. It is at the bottom on the back side of the compressor. The AMM and the air intake hoses are in the way of an easy reach, at least for me. You may want to see if the system is converted to R134 before you invest a lot of your daylight into it.
