Yes, MetalMasters won't do on a non-boosted 122/1800s front brake system (pedal is like stepping on a rock, cold); PBR/Axxis DeLuxe work well, though, and are good from cold, booster or not. they are NOT performance pads, though.
FWIW, I also use MetalMasters on my "sporty" track day car; they're good for 1 (one) track day/each front set, but the rotors have gone through 10 sets of pads and are still OK.
