My concerns as well 140-160

Well, the seller does guarantee a return (less shipping) and states that it was working fine before he removed it... What you can't see is that the check valve is also busted and was repaired with some silicone goop. I's probabaly be looking at losing about $30.00 on shipping alone, which is close to what I'll pay to get my booster stand modified to fit the 1800E ATE booster...

The 140 booster seems like less of a good idea the more I think it over.

The only other factors here are that the 140 boosters are supposedly cheaper and easier to replace/repair... then again witness that eBay sale that I posted on. Also, I'm looking at buying a nearly original 1964 120/130 sedan. If I could use the plastic bit from my ATE booster to replace the missing part from the 140 booster, then I'd be able to use my 1800E master cylinder and conversion ring to upgrade the brakes on the '64 122...

Still, I have several spare schaefer master cylinders and the brake function in my P220 is absolutely critical (no room for nearly failing components).
