No "tool holding problems" once you've learned about the rope trick. I'm sure the the impact works if you have room—and don't care about torquing to spec (44 ft lbs the 60° more).
The HB should practically slide on with clean surfaces and a little lube.
Just rotate and push by hand, and feel for the indexing "nub" to find its place.
No woodruff key that I recall on B230.
