Narh, why let my nice old vintage gas can go for less? You and I are lucky to live in a liberal World :-) If a gas can for the 240 series reach 225 - then I see no problem TRYING to get 249 for the 544/122 one.
Remember, eBay listing fee yesterday was only 0.50 cents - so it is/was very cheap to spread the info on gas cans - if it then sells - hey, you are free to stop by for a free beer!
Yes, I do from time to time list exclusive items and not long ago it's true I sold a set of fender mirrors at arround 620 - it's very easy to check out my sellings - just check my feedback.
NOS parts for classic Volvo's have a holde different value than say for Chevrolet's - there are no industri reproducing parts in same big business, so rare NOS parts have a completely different price-mechanism.
NOS 122 fender mirrors are not expensive at $6-700 - but 240 gas cans at $225 are a bit over the top.
I never mind not getting bids - I enjoy making relations.
Oh, and do not forget, do you have a set of NOS 123 GT mirrors, in original box, my instant offer will be $800 - hit me!
