Hi Stan,

I have to agree with you. In fact we own two of these cars.

1.) A squishy brake pedal is not normal.

2.) There is not a cabin air filter for these cars unfortunately.

3.) The spark plugs should be changed every 30K with a touch of anti-seize on the threads.

4.) That's a good sign to me. It might indicate the previous owner used a good quality oil and changed it regularly.

5.) I believe you will need to switch back to dino to use the Auto-rx, but I may be wrong.

6.) The last of the rear wheel drive, 'real' Volvo's (before Ford bought them).
