Back in '82 I found a boat I loved half buried in sand on a beach ( 20' boat) and back in '98 there was a motorcycle that was in the paper for 'too much' money. I took the Registration numbers of the boat and had the owner traced, The motorcycle; I went to see the owner. The bike sat for 9 years and looked very tired. I gave them the price that these vehicles were worth to me. In both cases these owners got frustrated with the fact that they couldn't sell, eventually I got a phone call and I still own both of them.

Send the guy this Link and show him what us Volvo owners think of the price... maybe he will give you a call in a few weeks when he's tired of paying E-bay.
