About 1 month ago I had a liitle push as I was slowing down. With the manual trani it's easy to feel.
Just before I would come to a complete stop, I 'd get this slight jump like someone bumped me from behind.
In neutral, I can rev the engine a bit and let off the gas, Just before it reaches Idle speed the engine would rev a slight bit.
I replaced the Fuel Pressure Regulator figuring it had 90K miles on it anyway and the 1 code (221) told me I had a Lean/rich mixture.
That solved it until last night.
A few traffic lights I felt the same little 'buck' as I slowed down. Just as I was thinking " damn, it's back again, the engine light came on.
CODES 221,223,231.
The one that is probably the cause of the other two is this 223 (fault in Signal to/from air control valve). what, where is the air control valve? That's not the Idle Control Valve, is it? geeze, 18 years with tis car and I don't know where this is. sad on my part.
