I have just about the same engine in my Duett. 67. Twin SU H6s with a Volvo 'C' cam. I have a rack and an external visor on the car. Car runs really well and strong. I drive normally, try not to burn rubber, but do put the foot on the accelerator. Included in my driving is ~50% highway at speeds between 60-70MPH. I don't push her harder than that; don't think it's safe. Average on highway I'd say is 65MPH.

I'm lucky to break the 20 MPG barrier; my average is probably closer to 18-19 MPG.
