Steve,

I understand, I read the FAQ a year ago.
I pulled the control unit a year ago and inspected it, but could not see any thing that looked bad. Interestingly enough the mechanic who worked on it must read this board too because he told me that they could be soldered , but that he was concerned about other issues concerning the controller.

In any case it's July and I was ready to fix it and move on.
