Andy;

Reversing Lights are supplied by Fuse 2, by way of a relay which in turn controlled by a ground connection from the transmission.

A simple check is to ground terminal 85 (the control terminal), and see what happens...a click and no reversing lights means the power is coming in but not getting to the lights in the back, no click means no power's getting to the relay...
