I'd be surprised if it goes for more than 5-6 grand at the most. More likely closer to 3-4(quite possibly less). Is there a following of the old bricks in your area?(A good thing and a bad one too). Show up before anyone else with 15 or 20 crisp hundreds, wave it under the owners nose, and call it a day. Although rare-ish being a '68 2-door and having low miles, in good shape, etc, the truth is they really aren't all that sought after compared to the more organic shapes of an 1800, 120, PV, etc. I know the sort of looks I get when I tell people I'm into old Volvo's how 'bout you? Although in many ways they are a better vehichle. What's that expression? It's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. I do wonder if they will ever 'catch on' in a collecting sense. In my head I can't see why they wouldn't so I'm just keeping it quiet for now. Stranger things have happened. Take a look at what Gremlins, AMC Pacers, Trabants, etc. are going for in good condition...and they were pretty lousy to begin with. Sounds like a gem. Let us know how it goes.
