Is it safe to try to restart it after stalling? 700 1990

After it has stalled, the hose that collapsed should expand, then can turn the key to restart while moving? (this car has auto-trans, I'm used to roll starts on m46)

Also, could this hose be one of many, or are you referring to the main intake hose that is ribbed and connects to air box?
