Hi Jack,
I have tried Sachs, Monroe, Gabriel and Bilstein HD there is absolutely no doubt in my mind Bilstein Heavy Duty are the bees knees of shocks for Volvo and Mercedes. I have fitted them to all of those after trying the others. In the US the Bilstein are very reasonably priced, do not go for their TC they are not the same as the HD.
