Well, yes, the car is registered and driving, but far from done. What is done is the quest to find out her name. If I remember all of the cars I've had (some I'd like to forget) Bubbles is #25.
In my missive I did leave out a few more classic names;
Hans and Franz, the almost twin Jettas.
my '75 242, the color of a can of green peas was known as "LeSewer"
A certain Japanese car had several names, including "Piece-o-shitsi" and "Christine" for it's maniacle ways of trying to kill me, including a "They all do that" dangerous power steering system that sometimes applied boost in the wrong direction in avoidance manuvers, a cruise control that refused to stop accelerating and was almost impossible to turn off, 4 transmissions in 88,000 miles, etc.
and one of my favorite names was for a practically toxic Mercedes 450 SEL, named "Benzene"
