E-code lights question. 200

Where did you pick up your e-codes from? I got mine used and unfortunately they were in pretty sorry shape what with 3 white ball and socket reflecter adjuster joints damaged along with only one rubber boot (the guy only spoke french what could I do?). Anyway, the reflecters themselves have a locking wire that holds the lights into them. If all you have is a rubber boot and no locking wire, your lights will be shooting off everywhere. I'm pretty sure the only function of the rubber boot is to protect the bulb wiring and keep moisture from going into the back of the light from the engine compartment. Does this sound like your problem?

All the best
jonathan
