Help! too many springs! which is which? 120-130

I'm afraid the uncompressed height of springs is not included as part of the data in the shop manual. And actually, that would probably be the last dimension you would want to use to identify a spring. Older used springs tend to sag (some worse than others), making a direct comparison to as-manufactured uncompressed height pretty meaningless. The other 3 dimensions however... wire dia, overall dia, and total turns... should not change with age, assuming they're not corroded so badly as to be useless anyway.

Again from the shop manual, here are the possibilities for stock rear springs on the 120 sedan and wagon, formatted as...

wire dia in inches / overall dia in inches / total turns

Sedan
=====
Standard
.461-.469" / 4.51-4.57" / 10.7

Extra
.484-.492" / 4.53-4.77" / 10.7

Wagon
=====
Standard
.483-.491" / 5.02-5.08" / 9.2

Extra
.502-.510" / 5.02-5.08" / 9.5

Your guess is as good as mine on the true meaning of "Extra", but I'm assuming this is the equivalent of "Optional". Prolly used mostly on special equipment vehicles... police, ambulance, etc.
