I understand that the front suspension and springs of a Diesel are right for the weight of a small block V8.

Have a look over on the V8 conversions forum, and any other place you know of. The Converse company, in Maine (think) will accept your car and your wallet and send the car back V8 armed.

Sell it as a parts car on eBay. Ya never know.
