Ah yes... probably not a very specific choice of phrase. It's all connected in one way or another.

Well... after a couple weeks of no signal indicator, I was roaring home at my car's preferred cruising rpm of 3200, when I signaled to change lanes, I lo a behold there was a glowing green turn signal blinking at me. It seemed a tad sporadic - like when you have a failing signal/hazard relay, but it regulated back to normal by the time I got home. No idea why it was out, but it's back.
That's a new relay too... troubling...

Really that worries me more. I hate phantom electrical problems, hard to trace and fix.

I did look into the fan connections, tightened them up, smeared the outsides with dialectric grease and then noticed that the fan ground on the brake block was in poor shape. A little wiggling brought full function back. At least I found where that problem lay. I'll fix it with a new connector when I have some sunlight.

And to help out future issues, I did fix both my AWIS and radioshack voltage testers. The AWIS had a bad battery (left it at the ohms setting too long, I guess). The radio-shack unit had a bad fuse and/or battery. I did not have a replacement fuse, but I found that a short bit of hard brakeline fit perfectly (until I can get a new fuse). That one stays in the car trunk.
