Fuel Pump 140-160

Been over everything else on the engine since I got the car a year ago. Car had power issues with last owner and it carried over to me. It is an auto and I'm working on changing that. Replaced distributor as it had stuck advance. Set valves and checked compression. Changed plugs, points, and condenser. Wires looked in good shape. Set points and timing. Timing I set to about 15 before tdc. Decided to check out the fuel system. Already cleaned and inspected the SU carbs.

I don't think it shows signs of fuel starvation. I pulled the fuel line off to output side of the pump and put in container. Started engine for the duration of what was in the carbs. Flow didn't seem all that good. The drain on the gas tank looked in good shape so I tried and it came loose very easy. I drained tank. what came out was very clean. Going to put on spare pump and see if there is a difference. Wouldn't mind changing the metal fuel line from tank to pump but not sure what to replace it with.
