Is to test her patience with a "learn as you go" restoration. I think there are probably a few other Amazon owners that can testify to the nearly unlimited patience a woman can exhibit.

Then again is really might just show how much smarter they are than us. Far better tinkering in the garage than going to the bars.

So yes; she is a keeper. Great story.
