Idle problem 900

Having done this a few times, the best advice I have recieved was to first thing take off the throttle body and thoroughly clean it. In the process you can get a good look at all the hoses and inspect them for leaks and cracks. A search or the FAQ will quickly turn up resistance values for the ECT. I doubt the TPS switch, but you can check it. You can also check / clean the idle control valve -- or perhaps tap it with the handle of a screwdriver and see if the idle remedies itself... you might want to try that right away, before you start monkeying with other stuff. Good luck and post back with progress / results.
