The part that goes in the block has a hose that runs to a device that goes between the air cleaner and first carb some air cleaners have a metal tube for the hose and you don't need the device, I have seen pcv valves spliced into the hose though I don't think that is original.What happen to the b 16 is it still six volt m4 or m40
