850 Slow battery drain

Tell him to start looking at the glovebox door, see if it is deformed and allowing the light to stay on and drain the battery. If it is the down and dirty fix for it is to glue a quarter or two to the lid so it makes contact. Otherwise proceed like you would with any other short and a multimeter.
