I consider battery reliability to be an essential investment. So I get the one with the most Cold Cranking Amps and reserve capacity. Sears Die Hard Gold lasted 9 and 13 yrs. I've moved to Kirkland (Costco) batteries. Size 34/78DT.

A zip tie to the handle and the eye of the hold down screw keeps the battery from wandering.
