Rats!
About 550 miles too far south!
Volvos were mighty rare in salvage yards when I lived there. When I scrapped
my second 544 there I had to talk long and fast to get the price of a case of
Dr. Pepper for mine. When I went back a week later to try to buy its exhaust
system someone had bought the car for $175..... (1970)
