electrical problem- headlights 200 1989

Hi guys, I have a 1989 240. When turning off the headlights to the parking light position I get a noticeable drop in revs that lasts for a second then returns to normal. This only seems to happen when the engine is cold. I guess the switch could be going bad. Has anyone else experienced this or have an idea what might cause this? Thanks.
