Help removing idle control valve 200 1985

I had an 85 but don't remember how it was attached. The newer 240's the IAC will slide out of the rubber mount, there are welded on nuts that the bolts go into so it is easy to remove the rubber mount.
Can you take the whole bar off? Top bolted to the intake manifold and bottom bolted to the engine block.
