First time doing this.

I see a little oil misting on the top of my Bellhousing, guessing the Cam Plug might be getting tired so I thought in the name of maintenace I would replace the Cam Plug. It will be the first time I'm doing this, the engine has 280000 miles.. seems simple. Picked up a Plug and Valve cover gasket.

I was surprised to feel how heavy it was .. Aluminum covered with rubber. I thought it was a hard plastic Puck.
Looking at the 'outside' of this I see a little half moon shape .. Does this round Puck have a top and bottom?
