Help with a B18B 1800 1967

I'd say the rings are likely on the way out... Not uncommon for the increased compression of cylinder head job to bring out the worse in the rings.

First step.. .change the oil. Maybe go a tad thicker.

Second, drive it a good amount of miles. Maybe there's buildup that's gradually burning off. a thousand or so miles would me more than enough... so if you've done that, skip this step.

Third, do them compression tests. Wet and dry. That should zero it in..

How much oil is it going though? Only a few places for oil to get in the combustion chambers... rings and/or valve guides...

Merry... er.... Happy... er....

Cheers!
