Might not be ignition.... 700

In my experience, this sounds like the radio interference suppression relay going bad. This relay, despite its name, provides power to the injectors. It will often be found to have failing solder joints inside. This causes it to become intermittent. With symptoms exactly as you describe---random stalling, easy restart after a few seconds. I've had it happen at least three times, on two different cars. It is possible to resolder the relay, or simply replace it (much cheaper than a distributor) See the FAQ for more information on this relay.
