The overdrive makes a BIG difference.
Also we have no idea how well the car in question handles or has been taken
care of. My experience in driving 122s is that continuous high-speed operation
is pretty fatiguing. The engine and valve noise and car vibration are major
contributors. These can be brought under control but one of the most helpful
items is to get the engine speed down. The overdrive does this. Good handling
at speed also reduces fatigue but we have no information relative to suspension
or steering upgrades (or normal maintenance).
