Hello,

Bosch did it because with that set so that one set would fit all 4 cylinder Volvos by having one set.

If that 90° spark plug end bothers you so much, unscrew it from the spark wire and screw on one of your old ones.

Make sure that the replacement end grips the spark plug correctly as the little clip inside sometimes becomes damaged.
