Howdy David,

Your compression is down about 20% from new. HP and torque figures would be down a like amount.

You might be able to gain a tiny bit with tuning. In the long run, an overhaul will be required; once rings are worn, the only fix is an overhaul.

That is excellent mileage for a Weber (from what I've read, I have no direct experience with one). If the oil consumption is not too bad, you might be able to get a few thousand more miles out of that engine; giving you time plan for and acquire necessary parts.
