Powered air?

Howdy,

Powered air is unmetered air; a vacuum leak. I have been using the term all my life. I cannot remember when or where I picked it up. It is probably a colloquialism used by my father. I have heard a few other older mechanics use the term here in Texas but it may not be universally understood.
