That was my experience - had the new compressor / impact gun and all pumped about how easy it was going to be - and it didn't budge it. Got a good position with a long multi-extension shot from way back, and the breaker bar did the trick.

I also know I've seen Art recommending a box wrench from the top, but I'm not sure how he found room to rotate it.
