Anti-seize on exhaust?

For exhaust work, use the high-temp nickel-based antiseize. This stays stable up to 2600 F and I have found it invaluable for use on exhaust manifold studs, downpipes, etc. More expensive but well worth it. Get it at a good machine supply house or on the web. I believe it comes from Permatex.
