engine to body strap 120-130 1964

howdy,

That strap provides ground for the engine; starter, ignition, alternator/generator, oil light. When it gets corroded it becomes resistive. The more resistive it becomes, the more deteriorated it gets.

No or slow start.
No ignition or strange misfires.
No or insufficient charge current.

You get the idea. Replace the strap.
