Let her dry out over night...still no good. Pulled the wires from the cap, the cap, and plugs... all dry and looking in great shape. I thought the timing might have jumped, so I checked that also, but it didn't. So now I'm in the process of replacing a few wretched (and I mean bad) looking wires in the harness at the back of the engine against the firewall.
You know, the good old 200 series fabulous wire harness, a mess at every turn.
Eventually I'm just gonna replace the whole harness.
