in a nutshell, bought a s90(250, 000miles/highway miles), got previous 4yrs of maintenance records(swedish enginerring). drove the car three days, and noticed a sweet smell inside car while on highway. of course, it overheated. got it home and took it to a mechanic. suggested i change radiator(400bucks) because there was a crack in it and service record suggested it be changed(swedish eng. tech states that it was leaking at the left seam. replaced the radiator and test drove the car, and still had the same problem(overheating). so, now i'm in the process of replacing the head gaskets and water pump. mechanic showed me old gaskets and there were some significant size holes(wear/tear)in them. will this rectify the problem. got a great deal on car but the more i spend the less greatness of the deal!!!!!! also when mech. was replacing the head gaskets, he broke off the last(right side of engine) bolt, so now it partially still in engine. how can i rectify this problem? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, please help..............................................me, thanks. peace
