"Just had a look on the 96 960 and yes they are electric, my mistake. I must of been thinking about another of my vehicles a while back."

Was it maybe a 1955 Dodge, or a '62 Rambler? Vacuum wipers have not been used on passenger cars (or light trucks) made in Western countries since the early '60s.
