All gone but the switch 200 1989

After finishing up the ball joint, I turned my attention to the cruise control. First thing was to reconnect the single hose to the heater controls to the intake manifold. The only fitting that had the right diameter on both ends was a T, so I cut off the extra leg, and melted the hole shut with a lighter. After that, I went under the dash and started pulling out wires, then the control unit, vacuum capsule etc. It all came out pretty easily, and it's a lot cleaner under there without all that extraneous stuff. All that's left to do is seal up the hole in the firewall and eventually replace the turn signal/dimmer switch with a normal one. When I'm done, the next owner (should there be one) will never even know the car ever had it.
