Any reputable driveshaft shop should be able to shorten your existing driveshaft to mate it up with the M41 tranny. I had Drivelines NW handle it for me here in Seattle so I could install an M41 in my 544 (which is brilliant, BTW). They shortened the shaft to my specs and balanced it for around $50-75, if I remember correctly....
